Choosing Music for Your Wedding Ceremony

Choosing music for your wedding ceremony is a very important part of the wedding for most couples. However, a lot of people are unsure of how to go about doing this tedious process. On such an important day, you want everything to go perfectly, and that includes what plays when you finally say, “I do.”
One extremely important way to decide on your musical play list is to think about where you are having your wedding. The setting can make all the difference in music selection. For example, a church wedding may have its own rules and regulations when it comes to music. When this happens, you are usually left with very traditional music and sometimes religious in nature. Almost anything besides a religious wedding has no limits for what you can do with musical selections.
It is good to remember how many songs you want to use during the ceremony. Maybe something simple while guests are being seated. The bride’s entrance music, of course, and maybe one or two more songs towards the end of the ceremony. Not too much for the ceremony though, as the reception is really when you can let loose with your musical selections.
Of course, the song some consider to be the most important is the one played during the wedding ceremony. That would be what the bride comes down the aisle to. A lot of brides go traditional and decide to use “Here Comes the Bride” and spice it up a bit, but a lot of brides are deciding to march to their own drum, literally. It is getting quite common to use songs that mean something to the bride and groom for the bride to come down the aisle to.
Tradition is great especially in religious settings, but it is also interesting and personal to have unique music playing during your wedding ceremony. The more unique of a musical play list, the more lasting of an impression the day and its festivities can have for you and your loved ones. Just be sure to remember your guests and try to be tasteful and not disrespectful.
Your wedding ceremony should be amazing for you. You should be filled with happiness. Music has a way of helping that become more than a fantasy. The music you pick should fill you with utter happiness and renown on this day. If you choose the music that best fits you, you can very easily make the day your own special day.
